The Sustainable Process
One of the most fascinating aspects of Italiana Parquet’s process is their sustainable forestry practices. They can naturally modify the growth of oak forests by planting other species around the base of oak trees. This encourages the oak trees to grow taller, producing longer trunks and, consequently, longer planks for flooring.
Beyond Flooring
Italiana Parquet is part of a larger company that utilizes every part of the oak tree. While they produce engineered oak flooring, the tree’s base is used to create railway sleepers and wine barrels at their vineyard in Italy. This comprehensive use of the tree ensures minimal waste and maximises sustainability.

Starting with hand-painted one-off pieces, Italiana Parquet has completed remarkable projects over the years.
