I spent more than twenty years working across the ceramics, porcelain, and mosaic industry before founding Aura Surfaces. That experience — across supply, specification, and real projects at every scale — gave me a clear view of where the industry consistently failed its clients.
The turning point was personal. A project of my own. One with a considered brief, a serious investment, and access to genuinely good materials — that still produced the wrong outcome. Not because the products were poor. Because the decisions weren't guided well enough.
Aura Surfaces was built in response to that. A practice where specification is treated as strategy. Where material decisions receive the same rigour applied to any other permanent, high-value element of a building.
I work directly on every project we accept. Not as a salesperson. As a consultant with two decades of hands-on experience, strong supplier relationships, and no interest in the wrong result.
