February was an exciting month for us—we introduced some incredible new products, opened doors to amazing new projects, and continued delivering excellence on our existing work. As we navigate this journey, we’re constantly refining our offerings, ensuring that every product we bring to market is the right fit for the UK’s design landscape.
Refining Our Product Focus
We are still finding our feet at Aura Surfaces—not in the sense of capability, but in terms of the products we want to champion. Some materials we tested the waters with have been fantastic, but we have to be real about pricing and whether the UK market is the right fit for them. Our focus remains on bringing the finest materials while ensuring they align with both quality and practicality.
We recently expanded our collection to include high-quality laminate, LVT, and veneered oak flooring, ensuring we offer luxury solutions at a wider range of price points while maintaining our high standards. These additions allow us to reach homeowners, developers, and designers looking for stunning yet durable options without compromising on style.
Beyond flooring, we have continued refining our partnerships and premium offerings, from handmade concrete feature walls to large-format porcelain slabs that redefine spaces. This month, we specified handmade concrete into a stunning project in Battersea, proving once again the beauty and versatility of bespoke materials. Additionally, we fully utilised Luce Di Carrara, incorporating matching objects that elevated a client’s bathroom into a truly luxurious space.
Bringing Experts Together: Our Premium Partnership Programme
One of our biggest focuses right now is creating a community of industry pioneers. We’re excited to be launching our Premium Partnership Programme, designed to bring together like-minded professionals who are passionate about pushing boundaries in architecture, design, and surfaces. The goal? To share knowledge, help each other navigate market challenges, and ensure we remain at the cutting edge of our industry.
By fostering relationships with key partners, we aim to build a movement where expertise and quality take precedence over mass-market solutions. This isn’t about sales—it’s about learning, innovating, and ensuring that every project we touch has a lasting impact.
The Issue with Specifications & Misinformation
During my recent visit to Spain, I had the opportunity to meet with industry leaders and engage in important discussions. A recurring topic? Specification. More and more, we are seeing projects where products are specified based purely on aesthetics seen on
social media, without consideration for suitability or budget. The result? Wasted time, resources, and unnecessary frustration for clients, designers, and suppliers.

We are committed to creating valuable content, filming educational videos, and sharing expert insights to help our clients and partners navigate this rapidly evolving industry.
